Workforce Development Conference Scheduled

Southwest Alabama Partnership for Training and Employment (SWAPTE) Inc. in conjunction with the state of Alabama will host the Southeastern Employment and Training Association (SETA) fall conference at the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel September 16-18. Approximately 500 workforce professionals from eight states will meet in Mobile to learn the latest techniques and best practices in workforce development.

Conference sessions will focus youth employment, on-the-job training, community partnerships, apprenticeships, job seekers with disabilities and well as financial oversight. SETA strives to work with business and industry to provide the tools needed for a highly-skilled and highly-trained workforce. To learn more, please visit www.seta.org.
